The 428NZ was developed with the requirements of SX and MX racing in mind and is therefore specially reinforced.

The rollers on the 428NZ are made of round stock and are therefore seamless. Weak points, such as rolls made of strips of laminated veneer,

so they are avoided. Another advantage of the 428NZ is that the rivets are manufactured using a special process (SDH) and have a high surface hardness.
