ZF Dual sprockets are among the highest quality and most technically advanced sprockets in the world.
 
The secret lies in the combination of the durability of steel and the lightness of duralumin.
This aluminum alloy is characterized by its enormous strength and impermeability, as well as its low weight.
 
Its tensile strength is about 11 times greater than that of pure aluminum. Through hardening, duralumin achieves almost the strength of steel.
The result is less weight and greater strength.
 
The grooves milled into the base of the sprocket teeth ensure optimal self-cleaning. These grooves prevent dirt from accumulating between the teeth, so the chain and sprocket don't wear out as quickly.
 
The durability of ZF-Dual sprockets is approximately three times higher than that of pure aluminum sprockets and they are 50% lighter than steel sprockets.
