More than 40 years ago, the sandy and gravelly soils of the Netherlands - and the resulting engine failures - demonstrated that foam and paper filters provided airflow for pilots but did not protect them.
 
With the advancement of Twin Air, the combined double-layer design combines performance and protection.
 
Fused layers of open cell foam and fine inner foam trap even the smallest particles.
 
The new, more rounded design increases airflow. This also applies to minimized seams, made possible by a revolutionary micro-bonding process: shorter seams = more foam = more flow.
 
- with flowable, recoil-resistant foam laminated to the inside of the filter
- washable and reusable (40 to 50 times is usual)
- two-layer foam (manufactured to specifications with cells of equal size and distribution)
