BELSTAFF Founded in 1924 in England, Belstaff was the first company in the world to use a waterproof and breathable fabric, thanks to the use of Egyptian cotton treated with oils, initially applied to garments for motorcyclists.

Belstaff makes clothing for motorcyclists, both in natural and synthetic materials.

As a natural fabric apply waxed cotton; a 100% cotton fabric covered with natural waxes, so it resists water but maintains comfort and freshness.

It also uses resin-coated cotton, offering great comfort and extra protection against wind and rain. The company has a long tradition of manufacturing products in this material since 1930.

Another of the materials that Belstaff uses in the production of its products is cotton coated with a polyurethane film, which makes it water repellent and as a result they have perfect jackets for urban use.

As for synthetic fabrics, Belstaff uses waxed Cordura 500, a traditional material that combines comfort and resistance to abrasion and tearing. It is thanks to waxing that the finish is richer in color and nuance.
Kevlar is also used, 100% aramid fiber, extremely resistant to friction and heat. It is used, above all, to reinforce the most critical areas. All designs in the Belstaff Motorcycle collection are delivered with smart D3O protections (except the back protector, optional on some models), and almost all of them include a Miporex membrane.
