EBC Fully Floating Front Wheel Rotors in Vintage Style
Perfect for cafe runners
The steel used for the new EBC brake discs is a special stainless steel connection with a higher friction effect than conventional heat-treated stainless steel brake discs. With the 10% improvement in the friction effect, the braking force is further increased.
The weight of the new VMD series is reduced by an additional 5-10% due to the rivet system with a lightweight inner ring, which in turn means an improvement over conventional brake discs.
The new brake discs are floats that will allow heat generated during braking to allow unrestricted expansion of the outer and inner rings without affecting the riveted joint.
Such deterioration occurs when the brake disc is heated by heavy braking and the outer ring touches the (usually round) rivets that separate the outer ring from the inner ring. The new EBC system prevents this problem, which causes 100% of brake disc defects caused by disc distortion and vibration.
Old brake discs do not have a KBA number and can only be registered with a single approval at the TÜV. OUTER DIAMETER: 250MM INSIDE DIAMETER: 68.2MM CIRCLE SIZE: 87.2 MM QUANTITY OF HOLES: 4 HOLE DIAMETER: 10 MM THICKNESS: 6MM PADDING: 25.2MM VERSION: FLOATING
