EBC BRAKE DISK 760.45.15

EBC brake discs. MADE IN UK.

The aim of the development is to improve the braking performance compared to the original brake disc. EBC uses low carbon HPSR steel with an 18% higher coefficient of friction. This steel is much more resistant to corrosion than cast steel. In addition, the entire surface is protected with a 3 micron thick layer of zinc, which wears off in the area of the contact patch of the brake pads during braking. Only from this area of the surface light rust can form in the long service life.

The brake discs are drilled in Vogelschwingendesign to get along with as few holes as possible while optimizing the cleaning of the brake disc with rainwater and brake dust. The fewer holes installed, the better wet braking and less wear.
