Sintered brake pads are less aggressive on discs.

Sintered brake pads are made from a mixture of different metal compounds that harden under pressure and temperature but do not melt, offering greater braking capacity as well as wearing the disc much less. They resist high temperatures very well but need to reach their operating temperature to perform their full performance. They can be louder than other brake pads.
