Disco de freno del rotor EBC Vee

El acero utilizado para los nuevos discos de freno EBC VR es un compuesto especial de acero inoxidable con un mayor efecto de fricción que el de los discos de freno de acero inoxidable con tratamiento térmico convencional.

Están completamente hechos de acero inoxidable, tratados térmicamente y proporcionan al ciclista una dureza óptima. Además del ahorro de peso, la refrigeración del disco de freno es esencial.

Para una limpieza óptima del disco de freno, la superficie de frenado está perforada con un diseño que también permite un ahorro de peso.

Cuantos menos hoyos estén presentes, mejor será el comportamiento de frenado en mojado y menor el desgaste del disco de freno.

El conductor se beneficia de la sensación y respuesta mejoradas del freno,

así como la vida del disco de freno debido a la calidad mejorada. El material es por lo tanto resistente al desgaste y expuesto a agrietamiento.
