To improve our most advanced control unit, we've taken a big approach, starting with the goals we've achieved to date. This is how the Force Master 3 was born, an innovative control unit in both hardware and software.
Lambda Emulator
The scooter's original control unit, which analyzes the engine speed and consequently regulates the carburetion, is normally connected to the interface with the lambda probe installed in the converter.
The Force Master 3 will intercept the signal from the original probe, sending the values produced by a "virtual" lambda to the primary control unit, allowing for dynamic and customized management of the title at all times when the original system would be programmed to analyze the results of the lambda probe.
Thus, it is finally possible to manage the carburetor speed between the idle and the idle zone, that is, for all rev ranges and conditions under which control over the lambda action would prevent any intervention.
Thanks to a more advanced circuit, the electrical disturbances normally present in the throttle position sensor have been eliminated, allowing for more precise location of the throttle position sensor's true degree of opening and significantly improving response times, benefiting engine performance and efficiency.
HARDWARE AND INTERFACE
Along with such refined hardware, a microprocessor with enormous computing power was essential, allowing Malossi technicians to introduce new software strategies and exploit the full potential of Force Master 3.
