About Gaerne

1962. From a small workshop to the world. Six decades of success in the world of two wheels, powered by motor and pedal. These are the two elements featured in the logo dedicated to this special anniversary.

Ernesto was 30 years old in October 1962 when he decided to start his own business. Despite his young age, he already had more than 15 years of experience in the field of work and mountain footwear.

There are two circular motifs characterized by an intersection: a reference to the world of two wheels, pedal-powered and motorized. Gaerne’s first products were, in fact, motorcycle boots; then, in the early 1980s, road and mountain biking shoes were introduced.

At this meeting point between the two worlds of two wheels lie the company’s soul and the passion that Cavalier Ernesto has passed on to his employees and international partners over the years.
