Why choose a BMC air filter?

General information

The cylindrical/panel air filter is commonly referred to as a "replacement air filter". Installs into the vehicle's original air box to replace the OEM air filter. It is made from high-performance materials that allow for increased airflow combined with more efficient filtration, ensuring that all impurities are contained to as little as 7 microns (compared to 10 microns on OEMs).

BMC air filters are manufactured using a "Full Molding" system that allows the characteristic red filter to be made from a single mold without welded joints, thus avoiding easy breakage. The rubber used in BMC air filtration systems is long lasting, highly durable and has optimal adhesion characteristics to all forms of airboxes.

BMC filters are made of a multi-layered cotton gauze soaked with low viscosity oil covered with an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to ensure protection against gasoline vapors and oxidation due to air humidity.

All BMC air filters are pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit.
