DUNLOP The story began on May 18, 1889, when Willie Hume won a bicycle race in Belfast. He won four of the day''s five races on tires invented by John Boyd Dunlop the previous year.

To this day, Dunlop continues to break records. It was first choice for the first production 100mph lap in 1969. Since then, eight speed records have been set at the Isle of Man TT, including Peter Hickman''s most recent achievement in 2018 of 135mph.

Traction, control and rider safety are continually improved, so all you can think about is driving. Dunlop is constantly developing new technologies and testing them in race conditions.
Innovations like Thermal Control Technology (HCT), Jointless Tread (JLT) and its NTEC low pressure system are developed from its passion for motorsports.
