Suitable for SAC clutches (3 and 4 hole pitch), e.g., VW/Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Opel, Renault, etc. This tool kit is essential for the professional removal and installation of SAC (self-adjusting clutch) couplings. Without this tool set, correct removal and installation are nearly impossible because the coupling can become seized or damaged. This will result in improper clutch disengagement or "seizing." A faulty or forced-fit clutch is defective and must be replaced. The tool kit prevents damage to the SAC coupling during disassembly and assembly, as well as rotation of the adjusting ring on the pressure plate. The newly developed clutch centering tool allows the clutch disc to be centered on vehicles without a guide bearing on the crankshaft. The two clamping/centering elements ensure precise centering of the clutch disc on the first clamping element (Ø 15 - 28 mm) and precise centering on the guide bearing or crankshaft bore on the second clamping element (Ø 12 - 28 mm). Even clutches from engines with a crankshaft bore larger than the clutch disc hub diameter can be centered cleanly and precisely. Advantages: - Preload the clutch pressure plate during removal and installation (important to avoid stress on the clutch). - Center the clutch disc on the guide bearing or pressure plate. - Reset the adjusting ring using the reset tool.
