Mercedes/Porsche MOST Active System Adapter>Cinch

Active System Adapters are used to maintain factory-installed sound systems.

They allow retrofit radios to be connected to the vehicle's own active system, while retaining the OEM amplifier and connected speakers by matching, matching or converting the output signals from the signal source to the signal input from the OEM amplifier.

Depending on the vehicle and the OEM active system installed, various features such as faders or sound and subwoofer settings may be bypassed.

In some cases, depending on the OEM system and retrofit radio, increased noise or connection or disconnection noise may occur.
