The SH40 is a case made of high quality reinforced polypropylene. The trunk resists extreme temperatures and protects the interior cargo both from impacts and falls. Its 40 liter capacity ensures enough space for a full face helmet, more accessories, or two jet helmets.
The security provided by the Handle Lock System allows for a double closure; on the one hand, it fixes the suitcase to the motorcycle and, on the other hand, it closes the trunk itself. It has a handle so that, once removed, the transport of the suitcase is easy and simple. It also has internal limiting strips that ensure that the internal load does not move.
Like all SHAD Top Cases, it can be opened and closed with just one hand, without having to use the key to open it. We will only use it when we want to lock it to the motorcycle.

As optional accessories, we have the backrest and the brake light. The backrest (D0RI60) provides greater comfort for the passenger as well as giving the whole a totally unique design. The brake light (D0B40KL) is made of low-consumption LEDs and is very easy to install, as it is attached to the bottom of the suitcase base, increasing safety by making the motorcycle more visible from a rear view.
Like the rest of SHAD motorcycle cases (with the exception of TR48 / TR37), it includes the plate and the hardware kit.

The SH35 side cases with aluminum covers are aerodynamic, rigid and light. With capacity for a jet helmet, or a small integral, they have a greater load capacity than most aluminum suitcases. They are made of 0.8 mm thick aluminum and reinforced polypropylene, and their structural frame guarantees high rigidity and resistance with minimal weight, which in turn provides watertightness.

As an essential accessory, there is the possibility of incorporating internal bags (X0IB36), which fit perfectly in the side cases. They feature an external zippered pocket for direct accessibility with gloves and are reinforced with an internal foam to protect the contents from any bumps with zippered pulls for use with gloves. Includes strap and handle to make it easier to transport, in this way the internal bag facilitates the transport of belongings without having to remove the suitcase.
Together with these new and advanced cases we have developed a new fixing system that is unique in the market: the “3P SYSTEM”. Patented by SHAD and characterized by its integrated and lightweight design, it has been developed with priority not only on aesthetics, but also with safety in mind.
Integrated design: The binding is much more integrated into the motorcycle. The typical rectangular frame that is reduced to a single horizontal “L” -shaped arm on which the three fixing points (3P) of the suitcase rest, disguising the hardware once you remove the suitcases.
Position: Both the volumes of the case and the inclination of the 3P System binding have been designed to shift the weight of the set as far as possible towards the bike''''s center of gravity. This gives it greater safety and stability when driving with a load.
Anchorage flexibility: The 3-point anchorage provides both security and flexibility. This is reflected in a slight oscillation of the suitcase. This oscillation allows air to circulate around it, avoiding the "anchor" effect of a flatter and more rigid suitcase. Again this results in increased safety and stability on the go.
