JMC AdBlue® reducing agent for the treatment of SCR exhaust gases from diesel engines

AdBlue® is a 32.5% high purity urea solution standardized according to DIN 70070.

In vehicles with SCR (selective catalytic reduction) technology, it is transported in a separate tank.

The urea solution is introduced into the catalyst and therefore requires absolute purity.

In this way, pollutants in the exhaust gases of commercial vehicles with diesel engines are reduced by up to 80%.

This means that the future EURO 5 standard can also be met.

How much AdBlue is needed?

On average, AdBlue consumption accounts for 5% of diesel consumption.

Therefore, when driving on the motorway, about 0.5 liters per 100 km are needed for a consumption of 10 liters of diesel.
