Eolys™ 176 Diesel Particulate Filter Additive

2nd generation as of DAM number 9493 (as of 05.11.2002).

Particle filters accumulate soot inside, which is burned at regular intervals without leaving any residue.

EOLYS® removes soot particles already at 450°C, ie 150°C below the normal combustion temperature.

To do this, EOLYS® is simply filled into an auxiliary tank located directly next to the diesel tank.

A small amount of the fuel-compatible additive is automatically added during refuelling.

This allows EOLYS® to mix the soot particles with the nanocrystals.

This makes frequent and complete combustion possible at a lower ignition temperature.

Combustion takes place every 500 to 1000 km, without loading the particulate filter.

At the same time, the regeneration time is only 2-4 minutes.

Fast, practical and respectful with the environment.

Experience shows that 1.5-5 liters are enough for up to 120,000 km.

Maintenance is scheduled between 120,000 and 180,000 km.

EOLYS® is simply refilled during filter cleaning.

It is only important that the selection of EOLYS® always coincides with the year of manufacture of the vehicle.
