MICHELIN bib mousse
The puncture-proof alternative to hose.
MICHELIN Bib Mousse is a foam rubber ring that replaces the hose and, when new, corresponds to an air pressure of approximately 0.9 bar.
MICHELIN Bib Mousse was specially developed for off-road competition (cross, enduro or rally) and is only used on MICHELIN tyres. We do not recommend mounting MICHELIN Bib Mousse on tires from other manufacturers.
MICHELIN Mousse Bib is marked NHS (not suitable for road service) and is therefore not intended for use on public roads. It should not be permanently stored at temperatures above 30°C and temperatures above 40°C should always be avoided.
MICHELIN Bib Mousse has a maximum shelf life of 6 months from the date of assembly and a maximum of 18 months from the date of manufacture. However, this can significantly decrease in very demanding applications.
A tube of gel is included in the packaging. It is used to reduce heating caused by friction between the tires and Bib Mousse.
