Pro Series Wheel Spacers
RFX Pro Series Wheel Spacers are lighter and more durable than OEM.
7075-T6 aluminum construction and color anodized for increased durability. This helps to reduce surface wear and decrease the amount of dirt entering the bushing, which in turn extends bearing life.
Designed with a rear lip that helps keep them engaged in joints, reducing the chance of them falling out during maintenance and speeding wheel changes.
RFX products have been tested and used by many of the best British Motocross and Grand Prix teams.
Aluminum construction 7075-T6.
Color anodized for durability.
Machined rear locating lip.
Slogan
CNC machined
For a tighter tolerance
Assembly instructions
Start with the motorcycle on a box stand with the wheels off the ground.
Remove the large nut from the spindle and loosen the lower fork foot clamp bolts.
Remove the spindle from this wheel. The use of a brass punch and hammer may be necessary if it is tight.
The front wheel will now be removed.
The rear wheel should now be loose enough to push forward and lift the chain off the rear sprocket.
The rear wheel will now be removed.
Remove the wheel spacers
Clean in and around the joints with a contact cleaner such as Maxima Electrical Contact and re-grease under the joint.
Fit the new wheel spacers.
Be sure to open and separate the brake pads on the inside of the brake calipers to allow more space when remounting the wheel.
Reassemble the wheels and push the spindles.
Reattach the chain and set the proper chain tension by adjusting the chain tensioners.
Squeeze in
the large spindle nuts to the correct torque
With the bike on the stand, pump the front forks up and down to align the front forks, then tighten the clamp bolts.
Lastly, pump the brakes to realign the calipers.
