With the new Polini cylinder kit for Aprilia SXR 50 4T E5, the 50 4T scooter gains in acceleration, top speed, and maximum speed, offering a more exciting and dynamic riding experience.

The cylinder body is made of aluminum and the Ø 49 tube of cast iron. This combination ensures excellent heat dissipation and exceptional performance. Aluminum, in fact, helps keep operating temperatures low and cast iron makes it stable in performance, preserving engine life.

For maximum efficiency, it is recommended to follow these assembly steps: 1st Step – ECM 171.0022+ HI-SPEED Variator 241.737 2nd Step – valve springs 3rd Step – Cylinder KIT 140.0237+ long gears KIT 202.1430

To perform any type of configuration, replacing the control unit is essential.

The

ECM with Polini valve springs for Aprilia SXR 50 4T E5 has been studied and developed by the Polini racing department after numerous tests. The Polini control unit upgrade allows you to choose between three different maps, offering the possibility to further customize your vehicle.

The addition of the valve springs inside the package allows the limiter to reach up to 10,000 rpm, with a concrete result in speed and an increase in performance ensuring a more dynamic and fluid ride.

Depending on the scooter assembly steps, it is important to adjust the specific map developed by Polini.



Map 1

This is the simplest assembly step, as it is enough to remove the original control unit

and connect the Polini ECM, as it is plug & play and easy to mount. Its replacement allows increasing the rpm limiter, moving the engine from 7,500 to 8,600. With this map it is recommended to combine the Polini variator (241.737), keeping the original Piaggio engine. Thanks to map 1, the odometer goes from 45 km/h to 50/53 km/h.


Map 2

With the second map we enter into customization, taking your vehicle to a higher level. It is essential to have a professional as you work directly on the engine. It is important to know that it is necessary to change the original engine valves for the Polini ones (included in the control unit package), which allow taking the engine rpm limiter up to 10,000 rpm without causing problems to the valves.

It is recommended to combine this map with the Polini variator (241.737), which can also be mounted on the original engine. Thanks to the second step we go from 45 km/h to 54/55 km/h.

Please note - To replace the springs it is necessary to disassemble the engine: with a small additional step in terms of costs it is possible to switch directly to map 3, obtaining a more performing final result.


Map 3

With the third step, maximum performance is reached. At the base of this step is the 49 mm diameter cylinder kit that brings the engine to approximately 80 cc (140.0237) with the mandatory Polini long gears (202.1430) for an optimal result; with this map, it is recommended to combine the Polini variator (241.737).

Map 3 allows you to increase the speed registered on the odometer from 45 km/h to over 70 km/h.
