· The collar (taper collar, ball collar, flat collar, etc.) must be identical to the existing wheel stud collar.
· When using spacers, the new wheel bolt should be longer by the thickness of the spacer.
The current tightening torques (note the differences between alloy wheels and steel wheels) can be found in the vehicle manufacturer's specifications for fixing standard wheels, the wheel manufacturer when using wheels specials and the parts certificate for the wheel spacers.
· Check the minimum engagement depth of the longer wheel bolts! Observe the following minimum threading depth: Thread M14x1.5 = min. 7.5 turns = approx. 11 mm support thread:
· An excessive screw-in depth can cause damage to the axles (brake parts, ABS control discs, etc.).
Therefore, after the assembly has been completed, the wheels must still be turned by hand in the unloaded state, in order to check the clearance of the longer wheel bolts inward.
· For some vehicles, the critical tolerance is 2 mm. TYPE: WHEEL SCREW KEY WIDTH: 17MM BUND: BALL NECKLACE THREAD LENGTH: 28 MM THREAD: M14X1.5
