The Malossi electronic ignitions have been designed to allow very easy installation, as they can be swapped with the standard ignitions, compact and ergonomic, they connect perfectly to the original connectors
Each ECU model has been specifically designed for the scooter on which it will be installed: for this reason, after numerous tests on static and roller dynos and on competition circuits, an optimal ignition calibration (fixed or variable) has been defined with the aim of achieving maximum performance from the engine.
Additionally, they allow the removal of the rev limiter present in the standard ECU: this way, the full power and torque of the engine can be utilized, even at the highest RPMs, up to 20,000 revolutions per minute.
Malossi ignitions are capacitive discharge units and therefore allow for maximum reduction of interference during voltage discharge. They provide nearly perfect ignition spark voltage (35,000-50,000 volts based on engine speed), and supply very high and surprisingly consistent discharge voltage and discharge current as the engine RPM varies.
