The Quad Lock Universal Adapter uses a 3M™ VHB 4952 adhesive that adheres to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as:

Plastics such as PC, ABS, PVC, nylon and acrylic.

The adhesive does not adhere to the following substrates:

Rubber, TPU, TPE

SKIN

SILICONE

Hydrophobic coated glass (also known as anti-fingerprint glass, found on the back of most modern smartphones)

Soft touch coating or paint

Low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), acetal and HDPE.

WOOD

We strongly recommend that you use a case with the universal adapter if your phone has a glass back.

Please make sure the mount is clean and dry before applying the universal adapter.
