The Xtrem skid plates in the AXP range are designed differently to the MX / SX range. Designed for extreme use, they offer maximum protection for your motorcycle: they cover the frame up to the dropouts, connecting rod protection, engine cases and water pump in 4T models. Made from 8mm thick polyethylene (compared to 6mm on our MX/SX range), they have a one piece exterior appearance and are only welded on the inside for better impact resistance. No vibrations, no warping, lightweight, polyethylene is a perfect compromise compared to aluminum or carbon.
